Privacy and Cookie Policy

Last updated: 3 November 2026

This policy explains what data is processed when you visit r1investing.com, why, and what choices you have. It applies to visitors in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom and elsewhere.

Who is responsible

The website is operated by R1Investing. You can reach us at [email protected]. We have not appointed a data protection officer.

What we do and do not collect

The site has no user accounts, no newsletter and no forms that collect personal data. We do not ask you to provide your name or email address to read our content. If you email us, we process your address and message only to reply.

Third parties on this site

  • Google AdSense (publisher ID pub-1915102715293008) shows advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure ads and, where you consent, to personalise them.
  • Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-KVHWFBMHDX) provides statistics about how the site is used, such as pages viewed, approximate location and device type.
  • Google Fonts delivers typefaces. Your browser requests font files from Google, which receives your IP address and browser details.
  • Netlify and Cloudflare host and protect the site. They process technical data such as IP address, requested URL, browser and time in server logs.

Some pages link to third-party brokers. Those sites have their own privacy practices that we do not control, and their links may be sponsored.

Cookies and consent

Advertising and analytics cookies are used only with your consent where the law requires it. In the EEA and the UK, consent is collected through a consent message when you first visit. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through that message or your browser settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

You can manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. More about how Google uses data from sites that use its services: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

Legal bases

  • Consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)) for advertising and analytics cookies and similar technologies.
  • Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)) for security, abuse prevention and operation of the site through server logs.
  • Legitimate interest for replying to messages you send us.

Retention

Server logs are kept for a short period needed for security and operation. Analytics and advertising data are retained by Google according to its own retention settings and policies. Emails we receive are kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

International transfers

Google and other providers may process data outside the EEA and the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, transfers rely on safeguards provided by those companies, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to processing, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority. To exercise a right, email [email protected]. For data held by Google, you can also use Google's own tools.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.
