Every guide on R1Investing is researched, written and maintained by the R1Investing Editorial Team. Articles carry the team byline rather than a personal name, because each page is written, checked and updated by more than one person.
The team's background is in building trading platforms, broker websites and market data tools. That is why our guides focus on how trading products work in practice: costs, spreads, leverage, margin, order types and the risks that come with them.
How we research and write
